Three active generations of the BEN Buchele founding family in one picture

Let’s start with the lady: Monika Schwegler-Buchele, the daughter of the company’s founder, joined the company in 1968 and, together with her husband Bert Schwegler, steered the company’s fortunes with great foresight for many years. Today, the now 89-year-old can still be found in our office one or two days a week (!) and provides support in financial accounting.
Her son Hans-Peter Schwegler, pictured right, took over the management of the company in the 1990s and has retained entrepreneurial responsibility ever since. Our managing director is an industrial engineer specializing in electrical engineering and his technical expertise is an important foundation for our success.
He is now supported by his son Benjamin Schwegler, who initially worked for a business intelligence company for several years after completing a degree in industrial engineering specializing in mechanical engineering. His decision to join the company as assistant to the management reflects the cross-generational cohesion that forms the foundation of BEN Buchele.
As in any company that has to prove itself over decades in constantly changing international markets, there have been better and worse times at BEN Buchele. However, we not only want to embody economic consistency, but also assume corporate responsibility for our employees and the community in which we are integrated. A medium-sized company can only be successful if it preserves its roots and always keeps the interests of future generations in mind
