Replacement Motors

When an electric motor fails in an application, one thing counts above all: speed. To keep plant downtime short or reduce unplanned downtime for vessels, we work flat out to supply you with a suitable replacement motor as quickly as possible – including for older models. Our craft-manufacturing approach makes it possible to build even one-off units.

For motors with standard IEC dimensions in particular – e.g. above-deck motors on vessels – a delivery time of just a few weeks is possible. For special designs and older motors, lead times may be longer. Delivery time often depends on the availability of the necessary materials. For our own models, we keep sufficient material in stock based on our order history – something that third-party brands can also benefit from. For models from other manufacturers, we also check whether motors we already have in stock can be modified for the application in question, or whether differing parameters (e.g. a higher starting current) will work just as well in the application.
